What makes Harry Potter so special? Millions of children's and people from various walk of lives and regardless of their age seem to be enchanted and bewitched by Harry Potter.Is there something special about a boy with a wand. Is it the world of Harry Potter? The world where magic is possible? The world of excitement verses the normal boring life?
A simple explanation is deep within each of us is a soul of a boy which is entrapped and seeking to free it self from various form of bondage and only thru magic is can this enslavement can be freed.
Each of us will grow old, and in the end we will always look back at our childhood years, our dreams, our pretension and make belief world, This world within our imagination is a part of of make belief drama or what could have been. Yet the realities of adulthood is beyond this magics world of endless possibilities.
The same can be said with regard to Alice in wonderland and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. If given a chance we will sell our sanity for a taste of walking thru the rabbit hole or finding a wardrobe which shall bring us to a new world, a world that is the opposite of this world a world of hero, villains and saviours.
This is why The Matrix, The Lion , The Witch and the Wardrobe including Alice In Wonderland is so powerful, it satisfy our need for all the endless possibilities, the drama the excitement and the quest.
This is the drama, the sword that have been given to our soul which have captivated million of lives and the boy that never grows, We need not go far, from peter pan sitting by our window, and presenting his arms and the offer to take us to neverland. The temptation to encounter the evil pirate and so forth,
Harry Potter is only a part of the wide world of fantasy, dreams, hope, vision, drama and the ultimate triump of truth.
